Macaroni fruit salad

Macaroni salad is a classic barbecue, potlucks and picnic side dish. This recipe is full of flavour and perfect for a party or meal prep. Pasta, fresh fruits, mayonnaise and few condiments are tossed together to make a creamy and delicious pasta salad. So let's learn how to make it.

Ingredients required :

1.) Macaroni pasta : 1 medium bowl

2.) Mayonnaise - 2-3 tablespoon

3.) Sweet corn : 3 tablespoon

4.) Apple - 1 medium

5.) Pear - 1 medium

6.) Carrot - 1 medium

7.) Green peas - 3 tablespoon

8.) Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon

9.) Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon

10.) Salt - as per taste

11.) Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon

12.) Water -  as required for boiling macaroni

13.) Oil - 1 teaspoon

Method of Preparation:

1.) In a large pot add water, 1/4tsp of salt and 1 tsp of oil. Bring it to boil and then add macaroni.

2.) Once boiled, strain it in a strainer and add 1 tsp of oil, dash of black pepper and salt so that pasta does not get stick together and taste bland. Mix it well. You can store boiled macaroni up to 2 days in fridge.

3.) Roughly chop apple, pear, carrot and keep it aside. Now boil carrot, sweet corn and green peas for 5 mins and keep it aside.(Do not overcook the veggies and fruits, the crunch tastes great in salads).

4.) In a large bowl add mayonnaise, black pepper powder, salt, oregano and mix it well. Mayonnaise dressing is ready.


5.) Now in the same bowl add boiled carrot, sweet corn, green peas and macaroni.

5.) Further add chopped apple, pear and mix it well.

6.) Finally toss pasta, fruits, veggies, dressing together. Give it a good mix and adjust seasoning, salt, pepper powder accordingly if needed. Macaroni fruit salad is ready, you can serve it as a side dish or just like this. Enjoy 😋.
