Peri peri paneer sandwich

Peri Peri Paneer Sandwich is a simple and yummy recipe which does not require much cooking (here I have grilled the sandwich in the end which you can skip). Peri Peri flavoured sauce mixed with veggies, paneer, spices, and garlic mayonnaise gives creamy, tangy and spicy taste to the sandwich. This recipe is best suited for breakfasts, snacks, picnic box, kids lunchbox etc. So let's jump on the recipe.

Servings : 2

Ingredients required :

1.) Bread slices - 4

2.) Paneer/Cottage cheese - 1 cup

3.) Peri peri sauce - 2 tablespoon

4.) Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon

5.) Salt - as per taste

6.) Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon

7.) Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon

8.) Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoon

9.) Onion - 1 small finely chopped

10.) Tomato- 1 small finely chopped

11.) Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon

12.) Butter -  as required for grilling the sandwich

Method of Preparation:

1.) Garlic mayo sauce - In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, garlic paste, black pepper powder, mix it well. 


2.) Stuffing - In a bowl, add paneer, chopped tomato, onion, salt, peri peri sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and mix it well. Paneer stuffing is ready.



3.) Now take 2 bread slices and spread garlic mayo sauce on one side of both the slices. 

4.) To one slice add paneer stuffing and cover with another slice. 

5.) Spread butter on front side of the 2nd slice and flip it on tawa to grill it.


6.) Grill the sandwich on both the sides till golden brown and crispy.

7.) Serve it hot with chutney or tomato sauce. Enjoy 😊.
