Spaghetti pasta in red sauce

Pasta is a staple traditional italian cuisine. Assortment of onion, garlic, coloured bell peppers, meat balls, italion herbs, gives unique flavors to this tomato based sauce. Lets learn how to make this delicious and simple recipe with some indian twist.

Ingredients used:
1.) Boiled 3-4 medium sized tomatoes
2.) Onion - 1/2 cup chopped lengthwise
3.) Garlic - 1/2 tsp chopped
4.) Dried red chillis - 1
5.) Olive oil - 1-2 tsp
6.) Italian herbs - 2 tsp
7.) Salt - 1 tbsp
 8.) Black pepper - 1/2 tbsp
9.) Coloured bell peppers -: 1 cup finely chopped lengthwise
10.) Meat balls (optional) - 1 small bowl
11.) Grated mozarella cheese

Method  for Preparing Tomato sauce:
1.) Remove the skin of the boiled tomatoes and grind it in a mixer grinder to make a puree.
2.) Heat oil in a pan on a medium high flame. Once oil is hot add garlic, red chilli followed by onions and saute it quickly so that the garlic may not burn.
3.) Now add blenched tomatoes or puree in the pan, saute it.
4.) Add italian herbs like dried basil, oregano, parsley, thyme etc ( 1 tbsp all together), salt & black pepper. mix it well. Add very little amount of water. let tomato sauce cook for 5-6 mins on low flame.
5.) Switch off the flame and allow it to cool.

Preparation:
1.) Boil the spaghetti pasta 1/2 packet in a pot with 3-4 cups of water, 1 tsp of salt & 2 drops of oil in it. Once cooked, drain the water & allow it to cool.

Method:
1.) Heat a oil in a pan, add onions and saute it.


2.) Then add chopped bell peppers followed by small pieces of meat balls.
3.) Saute it till the raw smell of onions, bell peppers goes off, now add that tomato sauce into the pan and mix everything well. 

4.) Finally add cooked pasta, italian herbs and stir it.
5.) Cover the lid of the pan and simmer it for 5 mins.

6.) Garnish it with grated mozarella cheese and enjoy it with garlic bread.
